Saona Island itinerary
7:00 - 8:00 AM: Hotel Pick-Up in Punta Cana
- Your transport will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the departure point for the excursion. The drive from Punta Cana to Bayahibe (the port to board boats to Saona) takes approximately 1.5 hours.
9:00 AM: Arrive at Bayahibe and Boarding
- Upon arrival at Bayahibe port, you'll be greeted and ready to board either a catamaran or a speedboat, depending on your tour choice.
9:30 AM: Departure to Saona Island
- The trip to Saona Island is a beautiful experience. During the journey, they typically make a stop for a swim in the crystal-clear waters and offer a scenic tour along the coast.
10:30 AM: Stop at "Cayo Catuano"
- This is a small island or sandbar along the way to Saona. You can enjoy swimming in the clear waters and relax on the sand. It’s a great photo opportunity.
11:00 AM: Arrival at Saona Island
