Punta Cana: Island Catallina Punta Cana

This excursion to Catalina Island is the perfect opportunity to unwind on its beaches and go snorkelling. You will spend a dream day in this paradise in the Dominican Caribbean.

Itinerary
After picking you up at your hotel in Punta Cana between 7:00 and 8:30 am, we will head by bus to the port of La Romana. There, we will board a motorboat, boat or catamaran to our destination.

On board this boat we will make a stop at a coral reef where we can go snorkelling. You will be surprised by the variety of fauna on the Caribbean seabed: tropical fish, algae and colourful coral formations. After this stop, we will head to Catalina Island, a protected islet located within the Cotubanamá National Park.

Once we anchor, you will have the rest of the day free to enjoy the island’s beaches at your leisure. If you like underwater beauty, you can take your snorkelling equipment again. If you prefer to enjoy the tranquility lying on the sand, now is the time to do so. Or if you prefer to explore the island, you can visit the Catalina Island Aquarium.

Are you hungry? We will delight ourselves with a traditional menu by the sea consisting of rice, meat, salad, pasta and a non-alcoholic drink.

In the afternoon, we will return to the port of La Romana by boat. Once we arrive at the port, we will take the bus again to drop you off at your hotel at approximately 4:15 p.m.
